Maria Staump is the Director of Education for Staump Productions LLC
Music School Santee. She has been a music teacher for over six years.
Maria teaches private lessons for guitar, piano, voice, trumpet, and
violin. Maria will instruct all ages, from beginning to advanced, and
specializes in teaching composition, songwriting, performance, and
recording techniques. Maria has a degree in music, and has studied from
Steve Lorentz, George Svoboda, Dr. Randall Tweed, and Fred Benedetti.
Maria can teach any genre of music, and will make sure you are learning
the music you love.
Maria is committed to encouraging the creativity and
individualism of every student. They will learn to strengthen and accept
their artistic identity. Lessons with Maria are spontaneous and
flexible in order to facilitate a free and open minded learning
experience. Students are encouraged to learn multiple instruments,
compose their own music, and to collaborate and perform with fellow
students. Each lesson is customized to meet the needs, abilities, and
interests of every individual. All lessons include instruction in music
theory, technique, performance, recording, composition, and overall
competency on one's instrument. All students will have the opportunity
to perform at recitals, competitions, and events every year. Every
student is given the chance to record music that they have worked on in
their private lessons.

Private music lessons are $50.00 per hour and $25.00 per half hour.
